Duke Campus Club
2017-2018 Year in Review

The New Member Reception is cancelled pursuant to Campus Club policies that state we follow Durham Public School weather closings. We were in the clear when the school system initially announced a 3-hour delay. We learned late last evening the decision was changed to a closing. We will be rescheduling the reception for a date in January, so be on the lookout for another evite. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to seeing you at other Campus Club activities.

Duke Campus Club offers Duke affiliated women a wide range of daytime and evening activities.
Members enjoy making new friends, learning and socializing together
and exploring what Duke and Durham have to offer.

Dear Campus Club Friends,

Welcome to a new year of Duke Campus Club.  I hope you are as excited as I am to experience all the programs
and Interest Groups we offer and to reconnect with the incredible women in this organization.

Begin the year by joining current and prospective members at our opening Hill House reception –
learn more about the upcoming programs,
perhaps discover another Interest Group you would like to check out,
and visit with those you have not seen over the summer.
Attend the many fascinating programs we have planned.
Our Fall Luncheon will feature Duke University President, Dr. Vincent Price.
Hear about women and advertising from the Hartman Center Director,
find out how Durham has become a hotbed of innovation and entrepreneurship,
and tour The Ruby
, the new arts crown jewel on Duke’s campus.
Our sports programs take a new twist this year – a sumptuous football tailgate buffet at the
JB Duke before cheering Duke on to a victory over Carolina and a women’s lacrosse game
viewed from the heights of the Kennedy Tower while enjoying a catered meal.
We will travel to New Bern to learn about its history and enjoy the beautiful waterfront.
The year concludes with our Annual Meeting and Spring
Party in April.

Penny Fleming, 2018/2019 Duke Campus Club President
